The New Breed – Flexible Credit Cards

Since the first UK credit card was issued in 1966, we’ve come an incredibly long way. Rather than having bog standard choices, we are bombarded with a multitude of offers. But do the credit cards really give you what want? Ever wished that you could create your own credit card that gives you everything you want? That time has arrived!

There’s a new breed of credit cards on the market that finally suggest that credit card issuers are finally listening to what consumers want! These credit cards are known as flexible credit cards or create your own credit cards. These credit cards allow you to choose what you want from a range of benefits on offer!

So what can you choose when building a flexible credit card?

 1. What interest rate you would like to incur. For example if you pay an annual fee for the card, you can benefit from a much lower APR.

2. What cash back or rewards you want to receive. You can either set this option to zero or receive no reward, or set the reward at is maximum and incur a slightly higher interest rate.

3. Whether or not you want to benefit from a low rate or 0% balance transfer rate for an introductory period.

4. Whether or not you want to pay an annual fee.

5. Whether you want online statements or statements sent through the traditional snail mail.

6. And you can even choose the colour and style of card that you want!

Even after you have set your chosen card options, you can go back and change them at any time. What more could you ask for?

Who do these flexible credit cards appeal to?

 1. They have the flexibility to appeal to all types of credit card consumers as you can pick and choose the benefits or offers you want.

2. Consumers who like to be in control of their finances and feel confident choosing the benefits that suit their needs will love this flexible card.

3. People who do not have a fixed income at the end of each month and will need to constantly change their rates and benefits depending upon their income. This is especially ideal for the self employed or commission based workers.
